hello guys.it the second time im having this problem and just can't fix it,ill be thankful for any help. well the problem is that the leaves of babies are starting to dry out or something, it starting at the tips of the older leaves and going in. im runing aero,
water cycles 10/40 on/off
chamber temp 21 c
water temp ~21 c
ec ~ 1.01
ph~ 5,8
humidity ~ 50%
i change water once a week, i may think this could be of a oxygen deficiency to the roots but i want that profs tell me, i add aquarium air pump with two outputs and conected four air stones and put it in the chamber, could it be not enough oxygen in the chamber?(its 1 meter wide,1,5 meter long,25 centimetres heigh),and there's always some water stays in the chamber after misting(about half of inch(1,5 centimetre)),but the roots are still not touching the ground. i just dont know why its happening. maby somebody had this problem? Ill be very thankful for any help!!

id say your EC needs to be about .5 higher or so,and temps raised slightly.

you may even have slighty nitrogen diffieciency, please do not do anything i have said until someone else(a pro, which i am certainly not) says likewise or otherwise

i dont want to be responsible for killing them!!!!!

they dont look too bad,and you say you have had this problem before??

using the correct about of veg nutes?????

yes id had this problem before and i know when those afected leaves became all brown, then the upper set of leaves begin doing so,and then the grow stops. i though also that i should do ec about 1,5 . becaouse they are a little like pale green. just afraid of overfeed them, im using hydro canna vega nutrients. they say its organic so it hard to do a nuteburn. well thanks anyway i thing i try to raise ec a little and see what hapens.

The root is fine, it'll develope nicely. The brown tips are a sign of nute burn. I'd argue that your ec may be a little high.

like i said dont do it unless someone else seconds me,a more reliable person(ive only just started my first indoor, and they aint looking too healthy, cant figure it out, humidity is about 35 percent,i beleive this is much too low,but ive got no idea now to raise it)

secondly, seedlings have yellow spotting on leaves, its not bugs im sure, but one has even started to grow new leaf from i side, but not the other, really worrying me) edit found bugs, looks like thirp larvae, definately, checked under leavs and they were there to,spray safed the lot

but yeh,try to wait until someone else says so,i really dont want to ruin your grow by giving you duff info(not that id ever do that on purpose)

I'm in Areo and I start my clones with 1/4 strength nutes and build from there. Everything you're doing sounds right. What kind of Areo system are you using?

i also think that i'm doing right but i dont like that dropy leave tips. i want to give as much oxygen to the roots as possible because i just dont know what else to do,i heard that adding a hydrogen peroxide(food grade) in res should increase oxygen levels is it true? and maby somekwone knows what amount of peroxide to add? well i dont know what kind of aero is mine(sori, still not a pro,new to aero), my aero is homemade, i just made a box 1,5meter long,1 meter wide and 25cntm heigh, put a 50 sprayers inside and a high pressure pump in the res. yesterday i added a humidifier outlet line to the chamber,so the fog comes out of the humidifier directly to the root zone, maby it will help a little.(still trying).

ive also just read in my urban garden mag, above 21 degrees oxygen content can drop rather rapidly,so,u said i were using 21 didnt u,i guess thats ok

Search this site for a thread "Harvest a pound every three weeks!". The system that you are using was developed by StinkyBuds as I understand it. Anyway, it is one of the best threads for Areo tech. You'll be sure to get good help.
