If you know what you are doing go with it.......but the last thing I would do is mess with the grand masters of organic nutes. I would stick to all Fox Farm products and keep sticktly to their schedule (they have tested the hell out of their formula and packed the combo up with a nice balanced punch). I would stick to the FF liquids you have and go get the granular 3 pack special (Open Sasime, Beastzy Budz and Cha Ching) and if you want the turbo package buy multiple bags of the Ocean Forest organic soil if you use soil.

the problem w/this "schedule" is u cannot possibly predetermine any schedule. how can u feed 2x a week if ur plants don't require watering? how can u feed 1x a week, when maybe that particular plant/strain is asking for more? how can u determine strength when again, when most strains fall into at least 3 categories when it comes to nutrient additives such of highly tolerant, moderately tolerant, & minimally tolerant?

why not simply start with ur minimal amount of nutes for the first feeding or two & go from there! see how ur plants react, see if they seem to thrive, wilt, yellow, green up etc. u have to watch, look, & listen to the needs of ur plants & adjust accordingly, whether it is nutes, temps, watering, etc. u just cannot predetermine this type of thing, and no one can tell u, yeh man, looks good, when no one can say if indeed that is going to work for ur plants/grow or not.

thanks for the reply, yeah true that..i get what you mean, i have 3 differnet mystery strains growing all on the same feeding schedule...they all seem to be thriving after each feeding...my schedule is on a Sun/Wed feeding chart....Sunday being first day of new week is the day i feed all the nutes....on Wednesday i water with just ST, Plant Energy, and Big Bloom (since its formulated to be safe using every water)...i just keep steadily increasing the Big Bloom and the plants havnt burnt at all really...ive seen some what yellowing here and there, but they quickly adjust themselves and keep a pretty lush green to them...i think the plants like the schedule im using...i was mainly looking for someone who has had experience using these products and maybe could suggest any adjustments, but thanks again for the reply man.

I hear your point theexception but must differ on your approach.....if you can only water your plants 1 or 2 times a week you should boost your light until your plant is growing and drinking daily. You can also check the humidity and temp of room as being too high or low. If that all looks good and you can still only water 2-3 times a week I would add some perlite to help airiate your soil and promote more root growth. I water pretty heavily daily and feed every other with their exact formula on 8 different strains now and it works excellent for all. I have 6 new strains that will be getting tested soon. I am using 1000w hps lights so that sucks the juice (h2o) Also another great thing about keeping it organic is it is much less harsh on plants all around....(harder to burn and they can tolerate a wider gap on the ph scale)

looks like u got a reply from someone very experienced w/FF :)

thats great, ur doing it perfectly, testing their tolerance & upping or adjusting accordingly. thats the best way imo

greenice: well didnt recall him saying in his first post anything about lights used, but one cant just up the lights when one has chosen lets say to use a 400w & only needs a 400w. and while ideally 78 degrees, one can only work within their environment (some limited indoors or left to mother nature outdoors). but u provide excellent advice for ways in which to try to adjust the uptake of course. knowing u can specifically related to the OP is super & i'm sure most appreciated.

Sorry for confusion I was offering advice for the lack of needing water issue you brought up with the feeding schedule conflict. That is why I mentioned these ideas on how to make the schedule work for you by adding lights/perilite etc..... If your plant drinks a full soaked pot of water daily then your plant is growing daily. If you are watering only every 2-3 days your plants growth is being somewhat stunned and not living up to its potential. These are ways around this problem to make the plant produce as much as it can before that last week hits. Obviously budget will trump all so go cheap if needed perilite to soil when transplanting and maybe 2-4 cheap cfls to help with the growth/water intake without the issue of adding too much extra heat? Thanks for the vote of confidence theexception....it is all about trial and error and living and learning ;-)
