i need to kno when is the best time to cut the tops of my plants so they can growmore heads and i want to take the tops and clone them i already kno how to do the cloning part i just need to kno when should i clip th tops for multiple head growth:leaf::weed::leaf:
 
you can go as early as 5 nodes, as for the clone, if u want to clone the piece u snipped off, make sure that top part has 3 nodes for proper size cutting....want more bud sites correct? forget about topping, try low stress training
 
he wants more budds all over not just one side... i would cut the top off about 2 weeks befor flowering. take the top 3 to 5 nodes for the clones.
 
i top when there's enough nodes to make the clone and at min 4 nodes still on the stem......
as for low stress training, i mix them both! i Fim mostly and then train my plants into an upside down umbrella, massive node growth that way...... i use Fim (advanced topping) and training on my moms, look at them in my journal, they got massive shoots everyware, then i top them 1or2 weeks before i cut clones off them....

that would be awsome actualy, fim it then pull the branches from the top down into a dome like thing? thats awsome!!!
 
thats how i do it, gotta do it slowly over a few days or you break the stems, but it works awsome and not only power grows the 4 or so new top nodes but each lower node now (thanks to bending) go nutz and become really big too......

:weed: i agree you can get a good spread of large buds without hacking up your plant, but its just 1 opinion, why not try all ways and see what you think.
 
then let them go for few weeks bent, untie them and FIM or top the lower node, witch are by then equal with the top nodes.... works almost too well, i have been selling off clones, MOMz produce way too many!and if you send that into 12h... oh wow, as long as the strain it is likes many branches it would be a stupid huge producer, but...... my moms are 3' high, took like 3 months to get them there.....and the more clones i take, it doubles my re-growth...... so maby just top them from the beging...... in a month or 2 i gonna get rid of at least 3 moms, wunz i see witch are the biggest and shortes producers, i don't want big plants

damn man that sounds like a fuckin gold mine... i am going to have to dabble in that here and there.
