80's haze

i have red haired skunk plants indoors that got out of hand and has reached 6ft and 8ft. my 150watt hps is not enough light and the leaves are falling off the bottoms. the top half is almost ready for harvest, but the bottoms only have small flowers. can i cut top half off and raise plant to bud out the rest or should i just clip buds and leave fan leaves. any advice would be most appricated. thank you
