after you transplant a clone i was told you are supposed to give the plants "filtered light" for two days or so, until the plant is falling over. then it is ok to put it under direct light.

1) IS THIS TRUE?
2) What do they mean by "filtered light"?

Not sure what filtered light is... I've never had any problems transplanting rooted clones into soil and hydro directly under an hps.

i have a 400watt MH. would that be too much for them? and when should i start giving my plants neuts? and how often..?

No that will not be to much light for them, just make sure its far enough not to burn them. Use your hand to measure this. Are you growing soil or hydro? Whats your setup?

yeah dont take any more advise from who ever told you that bs. you dont want direct mh light while they r rooting but once rooted your good to go

yea im using soil. i am also doing a closet grow. its not all that big, but i made sure i have good ventalation. they are three grape punch clones. and does it matter if i run them at 24 hrs right off the bat?

24/7, 20/4, 18/6 whatever... just no less that 18

yea i was told that direct light before they are rooted could put them into shock. but now the question is HOW LONG UNTIL THEY ARE "ROOTED"????
