need some advice on preflowers

males show their sex first right???? so i have my biggest plant with a leaf coming out of a pre flower so im guessing thats a male and then the other 5 are pair shaped and nothing has come out yet so is it safe to say that i have 5 female and one male???? when you first got preflowers did the male put a leaf out first???? just wondering what everyones experience was on this topic.

if its just a leaf coming out then thats just new growth..

also how long should it take to be able to tell sex ive been on 12/12 for about a week and only have one plant with a leaf out did everyone take as long? also im working with an indica strain and have 4 85 watt cfls 3 red spectrum and 1 blue.

are you sure about that???? i didnt have anything growing in the node area until i started 12/12 then they started growing. all the other 5 plants have a pear shaped thing and the my biggest is the only one with a leaf coming out of that area. and i heard that males show first. i just dont know and all my roots are tangled down in my hydro system how would you go about removing a male with its roots all tangles with others?

if ur looking for male plants wait till u see little balls near the nodes then its a male,then fuc it off
and yer 2 weeks is pretty standard for showing sex..

im sure im going to have to start cutting but it has formed like one giant rootball in my system so maybe i would cut the male at the stem and then worry about cutting it free from the root ball.....but then i will have dead floating roots everywhere i wonder if i can cut it free and then take the root ball to the tub and rinse all the dead roots out??? i dunno this sucks i should have thought about this before growing 6 3 foot plants in a 6 gallon res.

dont know cut the plant off at the base of the stem and chop some of the roots,it will eventually die and not be a problem for ur plant
