so im planning on mothering my plant with 6-8 cfls....im asking anyone who has experience with cfls what they think about it. is it worth not paying the bill for a hps? are there any in perticular that i should use? any input is appreciated

instead of using 6 - 8 cfl's which was going to be my first idea i went to a hydro shop and bought a 200WATT cfl for $200. it came with a 12 foot grounded plug, ballast and reflector. the thing pumps out over 22,000 lumens and has 6700 kelvin. also when its time to flower i will buy the 200 watt 2700 kelvin bulb for $136. trust me dude. pump out a bit of money and do it proper. im growing 4 plants under it and there doing sweeeeeeet !

this would be good but if your set on cfl & dont have the $ for the new LED tech then i would get fluoro tubes like he says and use them in addition to cfls placed around the sides for optimal coverage.
Good luck:eyesmoke:
