Can anyone give me any information on the following: I have 2, 400 watt grow lights and would like to know how many ballast and wattage I need to buy to run 2 - 400 watt lights. Thank you!

you need two 400w ballasts and sockets. Make sure the ballast numbers match the bulbs.

No problem, some say you can wire two to a 1000w ballast but its not safe or reliable.

Also what are the best ballast to buy? Is the digital ballast better?

yes it is. Only reason being because they use less energy and increase lamp life.

You also need to find out what type of lamps they are, HPS (High Pressure Sodium for flowering) or MH (Metal Halide for vegetative growth).

hgt has some of the best lighting pricing on the web. 400 for something like 140 cant go wrong. and it is a great light
