Need info PLEASE. Nutrient question

I got some AN Iguana organic bloom nutes. When I opened it, it smelled like straight barf mixed with shit and piss. (Sorry so vulgar)

Is it supposed to smell like that? There was some brown yogurt looking gunk stuck to the seal as well. Should it be like this or is it bad?

I also have the Kushie Kush nutes and it doesnt smell like anything but earth or dirt. PLEASE HELP. IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS?
 
Personally I haven't used this particular product, but some times, these things are like that. . . lol.

Many differen't product use organic "teas" as they are calling them now, which inlclude excrement from bats, worms, lamas and fish. Also in some cases other rotting things like mulch. In your case it is 100% organic, so this means all natural, no "chemicals".

Now, I would awate the answer of anyone who has used it before just to make sure, because the puke and pee smell might not be right, but many organic ingredients have very very pungient smells, and are made of some funky stuff.

By NO means am I exagerating. I can hardly keep my lunch down when I open the bottle. I asked a friend, and he said his never smelled bad. Which is why Im trying to figure it out on here. So I can take it back and get mad at the hydro store

Update:

I took it back while waiting for replies on here. We opened another bottle from the same batch (cuz the batches are labeled on the bottle) and it smelled like a fish bowl. Mine smelled like a port-a-potty.

I got a new bottle no problems. Thanks to Advanced Nutrients 100% satisfaction garuntee policy. Glad I got their products in the first place. Anyhow. Thanks for the help. The bottle was probly on its way to being "no good" hence the smell.
 
Actually, the new bottle smells like a fish tank. Shouldnt smell like shit unless its starting to go bad. Then it gets a vinegar smell after it has turned.
 
Yes, the only bottle of organic nutes I have smelled like vegemite. After diluting and let sit for a week I opened the diluted container and it smelled like something died and decomposed.

That's organic nutes for you.
 
Nutes never smell all that great. Think about it... bat and worm shit are excellent for plants, imagine what else is. And imagine what all goes into that stuff
