I had some seedlings that looked like that and it was a nitrogen deficiency. I would go ask someone with more experience though just to be sure.

Soil?
Amendments?

Its a big pot. How are you watering?
How are you encouraging the roots to chase water down the pot?
How often has it been watered? (looks dry on top, which is good)

There should still be plenty of nutrition left in the soil, with a plant that size. It isnt anywhere near filling the pot.
More info about your soil needed.

Were these plants transplanted to their current pots?
If so, how long ago?

Hey thanks for the response
I started off with a 10cm diameter seedling pot, similar to a red cup, using organic soil then transplanted a week ago to 25 cm diameter pot using more organic soil mixing with another type ‘black gold’ anticipating more nutrients, I water every other day but I don’t water till it runs out,,afraid of overwatering,,I’m in a hot climate so top inch of soil is always dry,,there was great progress then leaves started yellowing and I’m not getting vertical growth,,the nodes are not spreading in order to top,,what do you think?

I was thinking nutrients as the yellow is creeping up quite fast
But can we rule out lack light? I’m running almost 400 Watts with a combined lumen value of 20,000

How moist is it staying further down the pot?
Does it stay moist all the time?
Watering every other day, with a plant that size, in a pot that large. Seems too often to me.

I put my finger way down before watering and it was definitely dry but no harm in leaving it an extra day,,but could that be causing yellowing?

I think maybe the transplant.
Maybe little hungry. Who knows. Just seems unlikely. Considering transplant was just a week ago.
Personally id be inclined to leave watering a day or two later. Give a little more water than usual. Dry it out again.
Then if it hasnt improved give it a feed. But just a light one.

Hey Tim,,will give what you a mentioned a try,,should I water more until it drains out or would that be too much for the roots?

I think that may be a little too much right now.
Just enough water to go a little deeper.
Get it nice and dry first though.
Good luck :peace:

100% Nitrogen deficiency for me ,just do clean water no more nut and keep your eye on pot weight .
It’s one of the best way showes How much water in
For me I just hand it and then water if needed

Thanks Neved,,so basically I’ll get higher N levels from clean water and not to use nuts at the moment

Prolly overwatering also as stated...I'd get better quality soil for better quality weed...which should be already ph'd around 6.2 in the bag.

Shouldn't be risky at all doing at transplant at that age me

Get your ph right, better soil and watering technic right and you'll be laughing mate.

Edit. Get coco coir and perlite if you can...that's the way to do indoor, i personally hate soil even outside lol.

These are into there 4th week from seed, using just canna vega A and B. + root stimulator doing it how i said and ph'ing water at 5.8
