I think our friend here meant do some research. Some people get a little pissy when they see such vague questions. I do too except I am currently waking and baking! Seriously though go read the faq about growing indoors. I will tell you the first item you are going to need. Get at least a 400W HPS light with a MH conversion bulb, that will get you off and running. But ya start reading the grow faq I learned tons before asking my first vague question
* get the light on ebay... I spent 400$ on nice new fluorescent grow lights then 2 weeks later spent 150 with shipping on a HPS / MH light, the proper light on ebay is a comparable price to buying a bunch of silly CFL's or fluorescents. (take it from another newb get a proper light this is an addicting hobby)

Do a thorough search for bugs and beasties. Personally I would never bring an outdoor plant inside.
