Need Help with ventilation!!!

Hi my name is coco I am a new member with hope of getting some much needed help!!! Been trying for 7 months and cant seem to grow nothing... I recently changed my ventilation thinking I need to bring fresh air in the tent.. I have my tent inside a 10x10 room and I have a 4x4 tent with 600 watt cool tube. I have my filter on top of my tent with ducting running into tent attached to 6inch booster fan that's attached to my cool tube--the other end is just open NO DUCTING!!! Then I have 6inch exhaust/intake fan sitting on table in front of the air conditioner, with ducting attached running into the bottom port hole inside the tent on the floor extended to the oopposite side pulling In fresh air and I have oscillating fan in the rear right side of tent... I have attached a drawing of the set up, im not a artist but did the best I could...I need to know will this setup work far as plants getting enough fresh air and co2 or do i need to change something??? Also I have the air conditioner set to pull in fresh air from outside- IS THAT CORRECT??? 0911160442.jpg ANY ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

Most will pull air through their filter, not push air to it.
You want a little negative pressure so your exhaust should be pulling more than your intake is pushing. Are you getting that? What are the ratings on your inline fans?
Can you put filter linked to open end of cool tube?
In any case, your setup is unconventional but I am betting its not the main reason you can't grow nothing.

i would put the filter inside the tent above your light, sucking air in through the filter then through your cooltube and venting that outside. if you have to vent the warm air from the tent inside the same room as your tent, try to get it as far away as you can so it has a chance to mix with the cooler air in the room instead of just being sucked right back into the tent. venting it outside would be better if thats possible.
i agree with Dave, though, not what im used to seeing but it doesnt seem like ventilation is your problem.

Well I doubt my exhaust is pulling more because its a booster fan and I have my exhaust fan pulling air from Ac into tent...so maybe I should switch the fans around although I have a fan speed controller on the fan pulling air from ac...im just gonna go and take a picture of my set up

COCO you literally set that up in the worst way possible. Not picking on you or anything.
Suck air through your filter with your real fan, push it from that fan through your cool tube then out of the room. You can use your duct booster to bring in new air from the bottom of your tent. Or just have passive intake. Filter should be inside the tent as high as possible.

Edit, probably not thee worst way but not far off..

Yes switch them round! booster from ac good fan to draw through filter within tent and push through cool tube

Sorry about the writing, the black pen was falling apart. The red inside tent is the plants, not related to the red writing :leaf: The box at top end of tent is the filter

Here are the actual photos of my setup PLEASE let me know if I need to rearrange this setup...I am a newbie and NEED HELP BAD!!!0911161259.jpg 0911161300.jpg

Here are the actual photos please let me know if I should rearrange this set up...I AM A NEWBIE AND NEED HELP!!!
you wont need that amount of duct as an intake in your tent, just have enough to poke through intake hole
I used that long ductbecause I didn't want the fresh air being sucked up by the cool tube so I decided to put it at the opposite end of tent

If you look at my photos the other end of cool tube is open at the same end I have the intake air coming in

thats fine. leave that the way it is, except i'd put most of that bottom duct outside the tent.
put your filter inside the tent, up by the ceiling. have your fan pull air in through the filter, through your cool tube, and out of your tent. heres pics of mine.100_2042.JPG
from the outlet of the tent it gets pulled through my inline fan and out a drier duct in the side of the house.
so the fan is PULLING air in through the filter, NOT pushing it out of the filter, which is much more efficient

I really want trying to overcrowd my tent by putting fan and filter inside tent...I only have little seedlings right now so im pretty much not worried about anything smelling and if I even get to see some buds growing im still not too worried about the smell...house full of weed smokers they would love to smell it... So is there another suggestion for a setup without putting filter and fan inside...like could i possibly just have filter inside and fan on top and is filter even necessary right now??

I don't have a way to vent out of the room, I would be venting out into the room I have the tent in and since my plants are still seedlings DO I REALLY NEED TO EVEN USE FILTER...

I don't see in your pic where your fan is

This guy makes more sense I just do not undestand this putting the fan next to the AC thing...the cold air is going to sink and be drawn into the area. Using the filter backwards is not as effective as pulling the air into it.

the only reason to use a carbon filter is to get rid of as much of the odor as possible. if smell isnt an issue for you get rid of the filter. a small fan blowing in one of your tent bottom vents ought to be plenty, you don't really have to run the ductwork. actually, most people use passive intake, letting their exhaust fan pull fresh air in, with no fan blowing in.
as to "crowding" your tent, what are you doing with the ceiling? dancing on it? you have plants hanging down from it? i put my fan in a tote sitting on a shelf next to my tent, packed old clothes around it to muffle some of the sound.it sucks air through my filter, my light, then blows it out through the vent in the wall.
you don't have to vent it outside, but try to vent it as far from the tent as you can, no point in pumping it out just to get sucked back into the tent before it has a chance to cool down.
do you hear an echo?

Can you show me a setup where my fan and filter doesn't have to be in tent maybe just the filter and fan on top of tent..but I only have seedlings so is filter even necessary right now
If your using a filter then always have it within the tent. You can have the fan outside but it means drawing hotter air through the fan.
Filter is not really necessary with just seedlings but eventually you will have to redesign when you need to add the filter so may as well do it the way it will stay to start with.
