Need help with my first stealth grow box

  • Hey guys!

    My name is Dave and I live in Sweden. At first I wanted to start growing in my closet but I would not be able to do it because I still live with my parents and they would not allow it. So now Iam wondering if somebody know where I can buy a Pc/cabinet grow box for a cheap price. Or I can buy some furniture or speaker to grow in. But I dont have much money at the moment (around 140 usd). Or if someone know a good tutorial/guide to make one pc grow box and also Iam wondering approximately how much gram weed would I be able to harvest?

    This is a picture of my old computer. Its 18 inches long, 16.5 inches high and 7 inches wide.


    Iam really new to all this and new on RLT so I be thankfull for all the answers and tips.

My first thought would be not to grow under your mommy and daddy's roof, if they're not cool with it.You will encounter problems throughout the whole grow if you're trying to hide it.
 
I dont have to worry about that, I have 3 computers in my room if I get a good stealth grow box the chances of getting caught won't be big.
 
I can buy a bigger chassi/speakers or I can even buy some piece of cheap furniture if I have to. I just want to be sure what I will need before I start buying things.

Yes I do have a closet but I think I will get busted if I start growing there. One of my friends cousins said that he got 40grams out of his plant from a pc grow box. Was he lying?
 
I'm not sure if he's lying, but it just doesn't seem likely though. Just get a enclosed book shelf or something of the sort. A Mid Size ATX tower isn't going to work man. Either go get a FULL ATX tower or a cardboard box.
 
or just wait, dont grow....get your own place before you potentially fuck your parents out of everything they have worked hard for. dude a pc box is out of the question, im a first timer too but my shits already 5ft tall! and im freakin out cause my space isnt big enough, a 1.5ft pc box wont do shit, secondly what are you gonna do when your room starts to stink? and thirdly dont listen to your dumb ass highschool friend, cant get 40g out of a pc....where u gonna put the lights? and how much do you think a plant could yield if it were only 24in.?

Agreed! He's just not understanding that a PC box wont work.

it will work but is it worth it? NO.... like i said save your money and time and just buy a bag your gonna yield way more from buying a bag with your money instead of growing in a pc box
 
Damn I mean honestly, I love love love growing....and I don't go for HUGE yields because its personal use but It just seems kinda pointless to grow such a small op. The money you will spend on electricity alone and nutes or seeds/clones even if its next to nothing seems to not even out in the long run for how much you would harvest in such a tiny area. yes it can be done I have seen many cool stealth grows, but I wouldn't bother unless you get a bigger cabinet or something.
 
Dude, put it this way, why do you need to grow that bad? Growing takes time. I'm finding that out the hard way again and this is my second grow.
 
Iam just about the pc grow box because a guy offered me this one for 140 bucks with nets over the fan and light and everything. He said that he had 2 low ryders in there and that the harvest resulted in 40grams. Is he bullshiting me?
