***need help with indoor growing please***

I require some assistance my fellow Marijuana brother's, I am about to embark on my first ever grow journey, and I would greatly appreciate it if I could receive some tips, advice on the whole matter from people who have experience in indoor growing, or just wanna give me advice, thanks!:hello:


So, I am planning a cabinet grow, the dimensions will be 6X6X6[ft/H/L/W], I will be growing only 2 plants, because I read that with more plants in a small space there won't be sufficient lighting. I will be growing Afghan Kush, and Pineapple Chunk (because they both have same flowering period and height), also it says they will be ready in about 60 days (fully grown, ready to harvest) , oh and they are feminized.


I will be doing RDWC, Recirculating Deep Water Culture, just appeals to me, I will have both plants in the same bucket, then my reservoir will be outside the cabinet, I will have an external water pump pumping water into the bucket thing that the two plants are in, then an overflow tube to let the water back into the reservoir , I will also have 2 air stones.


I'm going to go with General Hydroponics for the nutrients, I'm gonna go with the "expert way" that's on their site.


Now for the cabinet, I don't know if I should have an intake fan or passive intake, but, I do know that I will have an inline fan with carbon filter. Now for the inline fan, should I blow the air into the same room? or Exhaust it outside? I am asking this because, the cabinet will be in the basement, it's winter right now, so all windows are closed, and if I blow it into the same place, won't co2 build up? (The inline fan should be outside the cabinet right?)


For lighting, I will be using CFlL's , for the vegetative state I will use, 180 watt(600W incandescent) 5000k grow lights, or 150 watt (650W incandescent), don't know how many though. For the growing stage, I will be using 150 watt(650W incandescent) 2700k, don't know how many either.


Sooo, am I on the right track here? It's winter here right now in Canada, so it's pretty dry air in the basement I guess, is that an issue? The temperature is also kinda low, not like freezing though.

→With a 6x6x6 you can have 2 HUGE plants or like 5 or 6 regular plants with a scrog. Thats what I would do but hey its your grow.→
→60 days? I hope you mean 60 days in flowering...
→If your going to use nutrients, and seeing as how this is your first grow, KISS (Keep It Simple Silly). I would just start with simple nutrients and then work my way up to the more →intricate nutes
→For the fan, Im not sure about the whole CO2 buildup, I would think that if you have some air circulation in there through vents or something it would be fine but if its completely sealed then Im not sure.
→And as far as having the fan on the inside as opposed to the outside, its personal choice. If you dont need to worry about stealth or anything like that then outside is fine I believe.
→With a tent that Big, your going to want a bigger light than 150w CFLs, Honestly if you have the money I would go for a 1000w hps, 2 600w might be even better. The only other thing that I cant think of would be maybe a 600 w on a light mover or maybe 2 8tube t5s. But like I said I would go for a 1000w hps and actually I would throw one on a light mover.
→And if it gets too cold, throw a small space heater in there.

So yeah I just wanted to give you some help, hopefully some of that helped, but like I said I am not an expert so take everything with a grain of salt and a bowl of kush ;D
