I was thinking of screwing (they come with 2 screws) these single heatsinks to a board or maybe to one large heatsink being heat is one of the main reasons why LED's fail early.
So all LED's with their own single heatsink would be attached to one big board or maybe one big heatsink for additional protection along with fans of course. What you think and thanks for your input !
There's nothing really wrong with what you have in mind, imo. The only thing that concerns me is the cost. $3 per heat sink? A large block heat sink should be a lot cheaper than $3/LED, and given you buy the right sized heat sink it will cool the LED's perfectly well.
It's up to you, but I'd rather put that money towards more light.
