Need help with first time transplant

I am getting ready to move my plants from peat pods to a Hydro Waterfarm. The big question is do I have to completely rinse off all peat from the roots before planting in the Hydrofarm with clay pellets. The manual says that the plant can have no dirt or debris on the roots so I am assuming that the plant roots must be rinsed. The manual also states that any debris on the roots can cause bacterial problems going forward if not removed. I am concerned that this is going to be very hard on the plants now at 3-1/2 weeks old. Do anyone have any experience with this?

Could be best to go with soil this grow and next batch make sure they are in rockwool.

I wouldn't do this transplant either. Sounds like soil time to me. I know that it's been done, but it's not somethng that I would take on.
