Need help wiring

Hey guys so i got this hanging lamp socket thinking it would wire in the same as my fixed sockets but only noticed after i got it that it only has 2 ports to insert wire. Anyone know how or what the hell im meant to do?

pictures? Im guessing it is probably just a fixture that is not earthed, hence only 2 wires and not 3? Is it made out of plastic?
But then again that also depends on you country of residence

Now I see what you mean.
You could just wire it like the other fixtures provided you are using the same wattage bulb.

It is an un-earthed fixture.
You only need two wires for electron flow anyway.

Ok so if my cable has 3 wires 1 green 1 blue and 1 brown do i just wire the brown and blue in any hole and leave the green out

If green is the Earth colored wire where you live, yes.

Always be careful with wiring.
Many good pages on google for basic wiring.
Pretty easy, an understanding of wattage and some common sense.

LOL, and that is the first rule.
Turn off the power before wiring.

BOY isnt that the truth!! Been knocked on my knees my juice that wouldn't let the hell go!! Fuck that shit man.. hurts like hell. My dad had told me to touch the distributor cap one time when I was 13 yrs of age. lol Hell I didint know any better, so I reached out and grabbed that damn thing.. sheww.. lol

I was about 13 when I learned to test engines for spark by holding on to the wire and hand against the block.

Once my knee had 15k volts applied. My leg was under a table and I couldnt move.
Finally broke loose and my leg was sorta cooked.
It felt like an extreme charlie horse the following week.
