Need help wiring 1000 watt ballast

I have a old 1000 watt metal halide but am unsure how to wire it up... dont want to risk frying it lol. I have a black, white and a green wire for the cord going to the bulb, but in the ballast the wires are yellow black with a yellow line and red with a black line.

I believe the ballast grounds out to the wall socket, not the plug. i remember replacing the socket on my hps (bulb socket) and i honestly believe there were only 2 wires, black and white, on the bulb socket. hope that helps! stay high!

Yeah bro. Your green wire is your ground. Then it goes color coded then on.
Red=red Black=black & so on. Happy 420. Later.
