I'm 7 weeks into flower and my light just died on me. 5 Cti 1212 run at 1400 ma in series with a HLG 240H C1400B. I've run it for about a year with no problems.

stupid stuff first, wall plug, breaker, dimmer,pot..............after that, you're in series, check all connections very thoroughly. never done the multi, but that's a great tool for this=== use the search function^^^

MW failures are rare, do you have another to confirm?

My 240-1750's have blown internal fuses THREE times and I've had to send them for warranty everytime. It happens. If it just stopped one day, it's most likely fried. Contact whoever sold it through email and ask for an RMA form.

....that is if you bought it from an American company. If not, I'd try to contact MeanWell directly.

PSUAGRO Makes a good point. If you've got another driver of any kind, hook it up to however many citis it can handle in series and if they light up, your drivers toast. No ifs ands or buts about it.

Most of the bulking and filling out has finished luckily for you. Supplement with some sort of light source for now. You'll be alright. Get that driver sent out ASAP.

P.S. 240'S fit in those $7 USPS Padded envelopes.

Worst possible timing would be more like 1week in... You're actually pretty lucky.

Damn it wont let me upload an image. The postive contact on my chip is completely borken off the soilder is good.
Squish that stranded wire flat with pliers, THEN tin it for the best contact to a COB solder pad.
Tin the pad too then put them together and just rest the iron on top of the wire. It will heat up everything evenly and the solders will flow together and make a beautiful connection. ;-D

Yeah odd, any cule how i can just run the 4 cobs without rewring them?
What do you mean? The contact pad is physically detached from the COB itself?
If that's the case, that 240-1400 driver can still run just 4 cobs. Just bring the negative from the 4th(now final) COB back to the driver negative lead like you had on the 5th before.
