Ok so I have just about all my materials and ready to start. Few questions first though.

So after germination, should I plant in the small clay pots, then transplant to my 3gallon plastic pots? Or should I just start them in the 3 gallon pots?

I am using CFL's to grow, FFOF soil, with the trio FF nutrients. Big bloom, Beasty Bloom and Big grow.

So another question, is how much to water them? And how often?

And for the nutrients, When do I start to use them? How much do I use? Do I mix them in with my water or just put them straight into the soil?

I know that's alot of questions, and mabye obvious ones, but I'm a novice grower and it would just be nice if I could get some help. All feedback is welcome and appreciated. Thanks

i'm tired so I'll only answer the first one to get you going. You plant in a small pot so that you can group your pots together close and get the light close up instead of spreading it out over a bunch of giant pots. If you were growing outside then it wouldn't matter.

you water them when they need water.. if the soil is dry (also an inch or two deep) then water them so it comes out of the drain holes at the bottom until next time they need water..
for nutes you should wait at least 3-4 weeks so they get bigger.. and you need to mix with water so you won't accidently burn them..

yup.. you can use nutes from day one.. buuuuttt!
with no real experience you should better just let them grow a little so if you make a mistake it won't be a fatal one..

the plant will be just fine growing on it's own with water (pH water) and light for first few weeks..
and when you do start using nutes use 1/4 of what is recommended on the the bottle.. see how they react and slowly raise the amount..

The soil already has nutrients in it so you plants will be fine for the first several weeks.

you can but they are hard to read and not as accurate as a Ph meter. you can get one on ebay for like 15 buck or sometimes cheaper. for Ph down i would use lemon juice instead. its better for your plants and it makes your bud tasty............
