Hello. I have some indoor plants that are in foxfarm soil under a 600 hps.
I am battling spider mites in this hot weather and I realize my plants do have some spider mite damage. I spray them with safer soap but the stuff gives me a headache and I do it outside with gloves but i still hate to do it so I got behind and the mites went a little crazy for a while I have delt with that before but now I am getting browning and curling of the leaves on a few of my girls that are about 7 weeks into bloom. None of the younger plants seem effected just the older ones. I have been fertilizing with pure blend pro bloom according to directions and have not had this problem before. I recently used some pro bloom that was given to me and sat in my house for about a year before i used it with the cap on. Will fertilizer go bad or loose its potency if it sits around in a closed container for a year or two? Anyway I am wondering about the leaf browning and curling. Thanks in adavance :) leaf 1.jpgplants 1.jpgleaf 3.jpgleaf 2.jpg

The curling looks like heat stress to me as for the spots im not sure sorry. Are you using mirrors to reflect light?

I agree with heat stress, hold your hand out flat and just above the top of the plant if you feel heat it's to close, remember to move it every few days by doing the same test. Another issue could be plants are root bound.

spider mites are demons and very hard to kill due to quick breeding. Soapy water is not going to do it for you.

You would be better off using neem oil, it's great stuff and the plants love it and it's good for your skin. It will slow them down but thats all.

If you can get out of the house for a few hours Dr Doom bombs will do the job but you need to do it 3 times every 4 to 5 days to make sure you kill the hatching eggs.

I wish you luck

Peace
