Hey guys, i'm planning a grow for the future and have no experience but have researched lots on growing it indoors. I have a back garden shed roughly 12' by 12'. my original plan was to seal off half and put in 2 1000w's and grow some big trees in some soil with all organic nutes. but now i see the benefits if i went hydro, i could seal the whole shed, put up a lightproof barrier in the middle, and have a couple t5's looking after my mothers and clones on one side, and in the flower room have a 4x4 ebb n flow tray under each light with a yield every month. It seems like a no brainer going with hydro, but that seems like to accomplish/alot of work to do with no experience, I dont mind that it will be alot of work, It seems like there is ALOT that could go wrong if I went hydro rather than some 5 gal buckets hand watering them. what do you guys think?

i wouldnt recommend going hydro on your first grow. With hydro, if one thing goes wrong, it all does. You need to know what your doing.

Do soil, at least if you have problems with a plant, you dont lose them all!

how many plants you planning on growing under 2000w? what type of light is it aswell?

If i was using soil I would put 6 5 gal buckets under each light, MH for veg, HPS for flower. If I was using hydro I would put anywhere from 30-60 clones in each tray as soon as they rooted.
