Need Help! neewbie growing

Hi i just found this website.. but i been growing a few little plants for a while... i planted them about 1 month ago... what i did was take the seeds with water and paper towel in ziplock for bout 3 days then planted them in some planting pots and put them outside in the woods but nice discret area with plently of light........ buttt only 3 plants are good now and now of them are higher than 5 inches i add water to them ever day not that much but idk they just dont seem to be getting very big..

any help? ideas?
should i plant in ground? what chemicals should i purchase? what soil?
