HEY EVERYONE I HAVE A dwc bubbler and i need help mixing al my nutes alwayz have problems leaves yellowing from stem to outer leaves etc... neway i have the 3 part general hydroponics flora, big bud powder,big bud liq,thrive alive and fox farm bloom can some one make a recipe up for a gallon plz i have a ph reader but not a ppm so yeah ne advice would help thanxx
 
Well it kinda depends on what stage of growth, but I alway mix shy of what they recommend. So try half strength and see if that works so if I recall it's like 1/4 tsp each in veg so then you talking 1/8. Hope you have something acurate to measure with.
 
+rep thanx, yeah i kinda messed up and i went 1/2 strength on everything and burn them heavy!! im currently on my 2nd day of flushing ph'd water. this time i think imma go 1/4 strength n see how it goes wen should i add the nutes in how many days should i flush i have a dwc bubblponics vanilla and master kush ph 5.8-6.2 any other advice would b appreciated too..oooh almost forgot im currently on my 4th week of flowering
 
can you post pictures of your plants. i had good luck running 5ml of each micro and bloom to 1 gallon of water. and 2.5ml of liquid kool bloom. ph to 5.8 and see how it goes. if it burns them then back the micro and bloom to 2.5ml
 
jd +rep thanx man my plants are back in full affect now im kinda iffy of putting nutes on it so early because they really perked up ill try to post pikz later i was gonna start 1/4 strength on everything n c how that works ive been flushing for 3/12 dayz wen should i add the nutes in tonight ????
 
thrive alive is your B1 i believe so you can use that to fix sick looking plants but use sparingly, powder big bud is your equivalent to dry kool bloom i guess. can you post the NPK values on here for me (three numbers on the package probably something like 0-20-40 if it is what i think it is.
 
its 0-15-40 so i guess it is, how would u use the dry kool bloom ??i tryed to upload pikz but it wouldent upload so ill try again in a few
 
it should have directions on the package. but i start at week 7 at half strength and 8-9 full strength. mix your base nutrients low cut them in half from what you normally do when you use the dry kool bloom. PPM meter helps ALOT here, but just keep an eye on your plants. if you notice tip burn or slowed growth flush and tone it down. the dry kool bloom should make your buds increase in size by a very noticeable difference and also bump resin production. also make sure your plants are healthy before using it because it takes alot out of your plants. post pictures and enjoy
 
First off, get a PPM meter... Thats the best way to not burn your plants. I usually never go over 400ppms during veg, and then up to about 700 during flower, and by the end of my schedule i will just go over 850. Obviously this will change depending on the strain. Some can handle more, some can handle less.

Big bud, and kool bloom are pretty average PK boosters. i highly suggest trying Bud Blaster. it will blow you away. its a 1-52-31, highly fucking concentrated. but it runs super clean in a dwc, i found kool bloom not as soluble.
 
^^Be careful using those bloom boosters as they can quickly transform your plant from female to shemale with overuse.

Also, kool bloom powder is 1-48-32 which is not a huge difference from bud blaster. That is hardly an 'average' booster. Big up powder or great white powder are your average boosters. Kool bloom, bud blaster and mother of all blooms are on the high end of boosters.

you should use EC if you want to compare nute values ppm varies from meter to meter
 
Do you have a PPM/EC meter?
If you are trying to use all of those additives, you definitely should invest in one.

In the mean time, I suggest you ditch most of your additives. Just run base nutrients and maybe a PK boosters ( 0 - X - X )

in my experience kool bloom only put out average results compared to using bud blaster. If you haven't tried using bud blaster i highly suggest trying it.....

I'll have some of my own KB results in the next few weeks. I haven't really used it yet (only on day 33 of flower) so I can't argue with results. Going by what my grower friends recommended to me which was the KB powder. There's quite a few boosters on the market and I'm sure they're all good. Some people rave that mother of all blooms is the best. Everyone has their own opinions :)
 
yeah i def need a ppm meter thats my next step thats probably the only thing that im missing ima order it in the next few weeks!! imma research bud blaster too see how it is but for now i just wanna use what igot so i should just hold off with the big bud and bud candy till like week 6 or 7 and just use the gh nutes cuz my plants got burn twice bad so i really dont wanna burn them one more time so should i just start it with just1/4 strength nutes n thats it?? im trying to post piks but its not letting me y i even tryed doing it the old way n still doesnt upload??

So what you have is:
Flora Micro
Flora Grow
Flora Bloom
Big Bud Powder
Big Bud Liquid
Thrive Alive
Fox Farm Bloom

If you are trying to use all of these that is the problem, you have 4 different Bloom nutes so even if you mix each one at 1/4 strength you are still hitting the plant with full blast nutes. Secondly Thrive Alive and Flora Grow are the same for vegatative growth so only use one of them once you go into flower you stop these and switch to the Bloom nutes. The Flora Micro is for Nitrogen, Potassium, and Calcium along with trace elements to use as a supplement to the nute feeding schedule.

If you are in Veg use your Thrive Alive OR Flora Grow not both and monitor the plant and if tells you it needs some extra supplements hit it with a little Flora Micro. When you go into Flower I would flush with pH'd water real well for a few days and then put it in the dark for 24 hours and switch to your Bloom nutes at 1/4 to 1/2 strength since the plant has already been introduced to nutes monitor it and step up to what the plants needs from there.
 
koool so how would u go about with the additives at what week ?? it says the first 1-6 weeks?? should i start it 1/4 strength too?
