Need help I planted a half germanted seed will it be ok

Basically I put my seed resting on top of a small rockwool cube and gave it light and darkness and waters it when needed and my seed cracked and started germanting the taproot got to about 4cm maybe 3cm and I've put the root into the soil and put soil over the top I've put my light on now but just water when it's needed.

Is it all going to be ok I'm new to growing first time ever and I'm also using a hydropolic system as well could any one give me some help:weed:

You put the seed on TOP of the rockwool. Its supposed to go inside the rockwool, then when the seed is well rooted then you plant it in your soil, dwc system, etc. This is probably your problem.

Yes. Stop doing that with seeds. Put them directly into rockwool for hydro, Root Shooters or Rapid Rooter plugs for soil. Buy a heated seedling tray with a dome. Read lots more. But for now do NOT overwater. Do NOT give any nutrients. Keep a light close once the seedling emerges to prevent stretching. A 13-watt to 23-watt CFL in 6500K is perfect for this. Buy a cheap bowl reflector and hang it just above the plant so it is not touching.

if the seed cracked and a taproot popped out, it's fully germinated.

as long as you dont wash it off the "top" (????) of the rockwool and send it to a deep grave, it will be fine

for future use, poke a hole in the top of the roickwool cube with a pencil, going about half an inch (4.5cm) down and when your seed cracks open, settle the seed in the hole, with the round bit up and the pointy end down and press the cube closed around the top.

this binds the seed to the rockwool and protects the seed from washing away to the depths of your pot where it would die.

Basically is like a circle thing with soil and I soaked it and put my seed on top I started it on Friday my seed had a small taproot by Sunday and i planted it about 5cm down and put some of the soil on top and I've left the light on between 12 and 13 hours and then left it for like 11 to 12 hours off I've just checked it seems like the tap root has grown Down in the soil cos it won't really move and I just wanna no if that is ok and will it be ok

Sounds like you planted it in a jiffy puck. It should be fine if you stop messing with it. You can snap the taproot pretty easily.
