We started our grow with 12 seeds, and 10 have come up. We have 5 white widows, 4 auto big bang, and 1 lemon skunk. We are at day 11 from seeds in soil. We did not germinate the seeds. Plan to transplant them into 3 gallon pots today or tomorrow and change the soil. Currently in miracle gro organic potting mix (.10-.05-.05)

New soil: Sta-green garden soil (.05-.04-.03)

Nutrients: Bonnie Plants Herb & Vegetable (8-4-4) we are using 1/4 strength of the instructions

Lights: 4- 100 watt flo 24/7

Have started noticing that different things are happening to our plants. Some have browning and yellowing on leaf edges, some have leaves pointing straight up, and our base leaves are curling down. Please help!! Can our plants be saved? Any advice would be apprieciated.
What should the feeding and watering schedule be at the stage in growth?

just let them grow.... my god with a title like this i expected more than 2 inches of nothing with a tiny yellow tip!!!

thanks for the response but why did you bother? We are new growers and just trying to catch problems early, no need for sarcasm!

your soil any good? if it is then it should have enough nutrients to sustain it for at bare minimun 2 weeks

also...how high do you keep your lights? and how often fo you water...they could be "praying" ( leaves upward ) for either more light or water

we have lights about 3 inches from plants, and were watering daily but has been 2 days now. only feed once or twice with nutrients... thinking we might have burned them... just hoping to have caught earlier enough to save them and learn as we go

Dude. There is nothing wrong with those things. That is normal how they look when they first come up. As far as watering them you don't have to water them much at all. They only need just a tiny bit of watering for the first 5-7 days? It's nothing. I am unfamiliar with Miracle Gro soil and what to feed them, but if you do perhaps give too much nutrients, just spray them down with the proper pH water. If you are using floros like most do now to veg at this stage, you can put the lights right on top of the plant. This will help them become wider and fill out better. Don't panic already.

Did you cut your MG organic with anything? It's pretty hot for seedlings. At least use 50/50 with perlite or vermiculite or anything else fairly inert that provides aeration and drainage.

Praying leaves may look healthy but it means they need more light. You do have some nute burn, likely from the hot soil but hardy weed will adjust and be stronger for it if they survive!

i am surprised someone said they were nute burnt. MG dosent burn anything, it is like manna falling from the heavens with honey flowing from the rocks.
