Need Help !! First time grow 600w MH/HPS grow tent!!!

Hey,

I jus transplanted my 3 plants into 14L black plastic pots as I thought the pots they where in were too small.
They where growing slow, these plants are 5 weeks old from seed.
Im sure they are meant to be alot bigger.

So I put them into bigger pots with a medium consisting of 50% complete organic top soil (blood&bone,zeolite, micro something etc no slow release ferts,ive got the whole list if anyone needs exactly whats in it) 10% perlite, 35% vermiculite, 5% coir peat moss.

When i transplanted I soil drenched them with 11L of 6.3ph tap water and 8ml of seasol powerfeed concentrate. After i added nutes to the water it went up to 7.8 I then added some sodium bi-sulfate to bring it down to 6.3.
Run off after i soil drenched the newly transplanted plants was ph7.0

Please someone tell me if im doing this right or wrong im new n ph/nutes is all very new to me.

I noticed while transplanting yellow marks on the leaves not sure if its from having a 600w MH 40cm away or from the slow release fert in the previous medium. Also on 1 plant a purple vein running down the centre of 1 leaf.

Please if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

id say brown leaves are nutes burn.wash them with only PH water.

No more nutes your over feeding, soil looks mighty wet for plants that small in a container that large, let the soil dry out a lot maybe won't need water for a week or so (I let mine dry out before watering and I don't like to hit plants with nutes till they are 5-6 inches and have some roots but if I do it's like at 1/8 the normal strength). Keeping plants that small that wet will slow root growth even cause root rot. What is the soil temp ? The light height seems right at 40cm the spots are not from the light. I wish I had a grow tent you lucky bitch I want to make one, 600 bucks is too much money. Well Good luck

As earlier mentioned watch out for overwatering. Those are awfully big pots for small plants. Seems like you already have some nutes in your medium. I'd hold off feeding for at least a couple weeks till they really need it. Remember less is more. Good luck.

Hey man thanks for the info.
Yeah the plants in the pics look super wet cause when I did the transplant I soil drenched them. Before I transplanted into bigger pots they where in 100mm small pots and I was watering every 3-4days when the soil was completely dry. But im guessing every time I did water it would release nutes from the slow release ferts.
The new medium i transplanted into has no slow release ferts but I mixed up a 3/4 strength nute mix and drenched it which now I know I should not have done.
Whats the best way to flush it out now? Or should I jus wait till its completely dry and hit them with PH'd demineralised water ?
The soil temp is around 30-33C which is around 80F. Ive only got 1 inline exhaust fan running and 2 oscilating.

Lol Yeah id say im a lucky prick. Managed to get a really good bargain and get complete grow tent and lights and all exhaust fans for jus a bit over AUD$300 and free delivery .

Also i noticed my leaves today are starting to crease, instead of flat leaves, where the main vein down the centre is they are creasing up to make like a V shape. Doesnt look right plus looks a little droopy let me know if u need some pics to diagnose bro.

thanks bud, yeah I didnt know what the problem was when I first saw the marks. I thought they where from the light.
If i knew they where nute burn no way I would have fed them. Actually its the first time ive ever fed them nutes.
I think the nute burn has come from the previous medium with the slow release ferts which Im guessing was giving my plants nutes everytime I watered.
I hope they survive aye.
