need help deciding to kill hemrie or not

hey all so during my morning routine of temp checks i came across a problem.Found a few bannanas forming right at the top of a few buds on 1 plant and instantly thought to pluck them out ,,this one has always looked different from the rest even though they were the same seeds but has grown fine. upon further inspection i found a few seed pods (not open) so took the plant out and checked out the rest and removed a few more but couldnt find any bannanas on any other plants.removed the clones from the tent and found a few more sacs so just killed them they were only for test buds anyway so i dont mind about those but still not sure about the big plant so heres some pics let me know what you would do...i dont mind a few seeds here and there i just dont want more seeds than bud.
by the way ,,,there 4 weeks 2 days into flower soil grow 600w hps well ventilated temps at 27c they drop quite low at night as its been snowing outside (good for me but not the plants :lol:

Good luck on the grow. I can't tell for sure if what you have there is a hermie, as you ripped off the female part of the flower...the other piece is too small for me to tell and the close up is blurry.

If I was this far into flower, I would finish them for hash, butter and some "usable" buds...why not. It's more of a waste of electricity, time, nutes, water, and the like to kill them. Just keep plucking nanners, and hope for the best.

Strange that they did that as a clone - any chance you know the phenotype? Fyi, if you look up the strains before you buy them, there is plenty of info to tell if they are prone to going hermie on you. For example, my Dairy Queen from TGA seeds, is the most hearty plant I have ever had...it has gone through nute burn, pH problems, temperature and humidity fluctuations while I got my ventilation squared away...it was crazy.

And it's producing like a champ. Unlike my sativa dominant strains...which will hermie the first sign of cold.

Just something to keep in your mind moving forward...some strains just need a much gentler touch...one that I do not have!

cheers man yea thats what i was thinking ae ive been going for 2 months why cut now with a month to go..
the clones were just thrown into flower room cause my mate decided he didnt want them any more they are the same age (flower wise)
as the other plants but by the looks of things they were the first to produce male flowers as there the most mature so im guessing this could have caused light pollination over the rest of the plants .......dam they were going so well and smell soooooooo good

from what i see its deff a hermie. if you grow sweet peppers the fruits look just the same in the begining. now i would never let a male or hermie live in my room. cant afford to shut down and clean the pollen outa my room as im a perpetual kind of guy. but if you got the time a patience you could just remove the male parts constantly. i wouldnt but you can.

if you can clone then you can lose the hermie. no need to go through the headaches.

I'm keeping mine, but I'm desperate for seed stock. I'm also outdoors, so pollen won't accumulate but wash away, blow away. That being said, I'm still managing the balls/nanners. The one part you showed was a female part. The other looks like a seed pod. He/she is a beautiful plant. Let us know what you decide...

100% hermie and actually a really great example! Keep it if you need the seed stock but be VERY wary that it will more than likely spread to any flowering chambers you may have. I would put it down humanly but thats just because i grow from clones exclusively and i cant risk anything but sensimilla.

I think it's preference. I bleach out my grow tent after each grow anyhow - considering the Pacific Northwest is prone to mites...so I do a once-over before starting another grow.

That said, it's always an impossible decision - continue the grow through flower to use as hash, or just kill them now.

The compromise could be to wait a little while longer until there is frost on the leaves, and turn the whole lot into butter. Then, at least, you aren't wasting the plant.

But what was said is 100% correct - if you have more than one grow-box/tent and the vents are connected, or there is even the slightest concern that a flowering batch in your attic could share the same air as the hermie batch in the basement, I would really carefully murder them...just to save the rest. For me, I only have a small grow tent...so I would use for hash and butter.

Doesn't look like a hermie to me..beware and dont pull out the fem flowers too soon,balls dont open imediately you have time to remove them,imo. But i am a newbie also...

I think some are prematurely judging photo 3 as male sex parts. They might be, but too early to tell. Not enough there yet, when those little sacks are on the end of a stem, then you know for sure.

whats circled here looks just like his photo. unless he posted a pic of a hermie to compare with his. just calling em as i see em.
