Hey I don't know the answer to a lot of your questions, but you can switch the light cycle to 12/12 pretty much any time you want. You usually want to wait until the plants have shown maturity (branches coming off the main stem will change from opposite one another to staggered) if you want to get the biggest yield. However, you can start plants at a 12/12 cycle at 3 weeks of age or less! Put them in that light anytime you want bro.

Also... yeah the plants get a shit ton bigger unless you've already grown them to their potential (I believe)... expect an increase... maybe 2/3 or so

I would go up on pot size, just to ensure that root growth is at optimum health.. You dont want a root bound plant.. Your plants look healthy though... good luck..

Your pot size looks fine for your plant size and then some.

Double or triple size during flowering. You can start any time. The longer you wait, the bigger the plants, the more yield, but several small plants can create a decent yield.

Sex is usually around 50/50.

show me some close ups on your main stem and nodes..please if you dont mind... we'l get you taken care of... i can try to help.. and there are others who can help you as well just be patient... alot of people ask a lot of good ?'s..

here are some pics of the main stem the noded r what is coming out of main stem right?
thanks for the help od420 i really need it.

the calyx is the lil green bud where the branch meets the main stem... It has a set of white hairs coming out of it..

ok...sorry ... you want to wait untill you see these calyx.. this is the plant telling you that its ready to flower..if you see something similar but with no white hairs.. watch them closely, sometimes it can take a lil bit to "show sex" male or female.. do you know the diference? I can show you if you need...

yeah...keep it on 12/12 untill you see pre flowers on everything..male or female.. seperate the two if you plan on saving the male for breeding.. when you do...you know your good to go... I flowered some lavender and they didnt show signs of sex untill like 1 week then poooooooof they were everywhere. 2 weeks i already had a lot of bud sites. It went quick after that.. so yeah.. stick to the 12/12 for sure.
