Basically my plant was in vegetative state, over 30 inches tall, this week the temps are 33, 32 33, 33, feeling like 41 most days perfect weather.

Anyway Basically some 'Guy' found my plant and snapped it. So I have two parts, the stem which has roots in the soil still and on top the majority of the plant. So its just snapped at the stem, so I have put the stem in the soil (as you would a clone?) and watered it, I also gave it a support.

What else should I do or should I put the stem in a vase then put it in the soil as it is wilted?

Thanks.

I would try and put it in soil like a clone but I don't think it is going to work. A clone only has to build a small root system to sustain growth, because obviously it is a lot smaller than your plant. Your plant being broken, it has had its feeding system (roots) taken away and I'm pretty sure it will die before you can build a big enough root system to sustain life. Sorry man.
