need advice, seeds growing in rock wool

I'm starting some seeds,in 1"rock wool cubes....I spary the cubes,with water,to keep them moist,the seeds are growing,but the tips of the roots die,is this normal,or should i spray a mist of water on the roots too....all advice welcome

did you soak the rock wool before the grow?

if they have roots already you need to transplant them. i recomend putting them in pots you are going to finish in.

I plan on putting them in ebb & flow..they not even an inch tall yet,they just have that main root,so i still have them under light,i'm just trying to get them to have a good root system,before i put them in ebb & flood,but like i sayed,they growing but,when i look under them,the root tips turn brown or die,i was thinking it was air....And yes i soaked the cubes, 5.5 ph.

Yeah the roots will dry out at the bottom but it's no biggie. The roots can fill that whole cube up and the plant would be ok but it would be hard to maintain the correct moisture level after a while.
