Hey yall! New guy here and new in recirculating DWC
I'm starting a new proyect and I wanted to ask the more experienced grower about my set up I've been growing in dirt for a few years and I've done aDWC before but not recirculating and I've read many threads and post about it.
Ok here is what I got
9x61/2x7 enclosed cement basement area(wich I might turn into a perpetual grow next time)
5x5x7 growing tent
1000w mh/hps with hood and 6 in duct
1 400 cfm fan
1 250 cfm fan
3 5gal buckets
1 18 gal control
1 30 gal trash can (rezzy)
2 submersable pump one for control (295 gph) and the small one for my Diy ezcloner sprayer in a 5 gal bucket
1 air pump with a 6 outlet manifold
5 2' air diffusers
4 timmers
Ebb&flow fitings(3/4,1/2)
Tees elbows and straight(1/4 1/2 3/4)
Id tubing (1/4 1/2 3/4)
8 filters for the ebb&flow Fittings
Ph meter
Ppm meter
Ph up down
GH nutes
Water digital thermometer
Water Chiller on order should get it In two weeks
No carbon filter but I will order one after up and running or diy
Float on order for auto filing
I'm thinking about hooking up the 400 cfm to suck air trough the light and discharge it to another section in my basement or outside and the 250 cfm for intake I would like to keep negative pressure at all times my basement stays around 55 to 60 deg f all winter long here in tennessee. Would this work?
planning on having 2 or 3 sites with 6" nets with 3/4 in tubing for return and 1/2 in to a 1/4 tubing for feeding with filters to try to keep my system from clogging with roots. I will get cuttings if I can or ill start from seeds that I have from my last grow some whites and purple.
My water comes from a spring runs at 6.0 ph haven't checked ppm yet but I will. want a ro filter but the wife won't let me spend any more for now lol! , already spent close to a1000$.
Thinking about running the lights18/6 vor veggie but I'M SKEPTICAL about the 1000w and the 5x5x7 tent. Don't know if it's going to get to hot even if the basement always stays below 60 , but I ll run it without plants next wk to be sure.
Planing on starting in about two weeks please stop by and let me know what you guys think. That's all I can think right now because I'm at work and wrote all this using my cell whoa! Need to smoke now.
