Need Advice ASAP (First Time)

hey iv just brought a hydro system and iv got 3 small plants about 5-10 cm in hight there just about 2 grow a new set of leaves as i only have 4 leaves atm the 2 smaller ones and 2 weed like leaves i want 2 move them in the hydro system (clay balls) can i take these plants out the soil and put them straight in the balls or will i need sommin like rockwool for a base for the roots? any advice would be great many thanks

i'm sure you can, but i would prefer to wrap a little rockwool around the stem personally, although a little accidental cropping wouldn't hurt them ... just be gentle....
