Wad up fellow stoners , im currently harvesting and found out that FFOF may be the reason why my plants got seeds becuz of low ph levels . Well if it wasnt the FFOF i still want a soil that i have control of and how much exactly nutes im giving my plant. And also will coco will go good with jacks classic since coco is considered to have a ph of hydro???

Let me know guys

What is so difficult about spending $5 for a bag of dolomite lime and adding it to the FFOF, or any other peat based mix? Why complicate something simple?

BTW, Jacks is designed to be used with this added lime and/or tap water. If you look real close, you will see that the Jack's Classic has no cal or mag added. This is to prevent lockout problems, because the cal/mag should be in your mix, in the form of dolomite lime, or in the tap water.

Never used coco, so I can't comment. But, I have been using a peat based mix and Jack's for well over 35 years with no problems. Back then it was Peters, before they lost the name. Same Co. though. The stuff now labeled Peters is NOT made by the J R Peters company.

Quit trying to complicate things when there is such a simple solution.

Well thank u for ur lil comment dog , so u think cal mag is the prob why my plants stressed ?? Or ur saying i need dolomite in the mix so dat i wont have ph problems?? i seem to dont understand ur rude compliment about dolomite... so even though im giving plants cal-mag in a liquid form wen i water it will still give out lockout problems?? Or u jus thought i didnt give my plants cal-mag?? why are u acting like i knew about this dolomite, if i did i wouldnt be asking this question dog.

Sorry if it sounded rude.

Adding dolomite lime will keep you from having pH problems AND provide cal/mag.

Not bad for $5, huh?
