Need a little help with my grow cabinet layout.

I have two closets. They both are 4 feet wide, two feet deep, and six feet tall. I would like to put a 400 or 600 watt hps or mh in one for flowering. And the other I was going to put clones and maybe mother with T5 lights. I have a 6 inch inline fan to draw air through the both chambers and light. How many T5 bulbs for this area? Should I put a carbon filter before inside? the closets are outside. Any suggestions?

My grow is 2 4x2x3 spaces. I only have 1 of the cabs equip with lights so far. I am running 8 bulb 4' T8HO fixture, with 4' T5HO bulbs running in between them. I am producing fat potent buds with this setup and it is only my first grow. I plan to use the cabs for veg later when I have a big flower room.

Anyhow, I would suggest at least 6 4' T5HO tubes for veg in a 4'x2' space. You will have fantastic plants man!

HID is the way to go for flowering, temps will be tough but if you have 6' height then shorter plants should be alright, especially if it is cooler in your region. For a 2x4 space I'd say use the 400w HPS. One thing I can say is to have the inline fan pull as much air thru the hood as possible and then OUTSIDE the chamber thru the carbon filter if possible. 1 plant(strain dependent) won't smell bad for the first 4 wks flowering if you must put off getting one for a while and the closet with the T5 fixture & clones/mother/veg area won't have heat issues or smell but should get fresh, ventilated air regularly. Will there be any shelves to maybe have the clone area up top? Anyways a 2' 4 bulb T5 fixture lit my 2' deep x 3' wide area with plenty of light for veg, but if you could put 2 2' fixtures in that 4 ft area then you would get some adjustability in height of the light as opposed to 1 light. hope that helps
