Hello my peeps,

Good morning & happy wishes to all!

Newbie question ... I am adding the agro UV bulb 75%b 25%a to my light platform. As I understand it, this is a very potent bulb that can fry the frack out of the plants. Therefore it should run “hypothetically” for 1-3 min an hour..... I can’t find a timer that has this level of control.

Any ideas, or links are greatly appreciated by this new growin old fart...!

You da man nasty! Purchased, and on its way via UPS...
be sure to read the instructions, its got a photo sensor mode that will stop it from firing during your dark cycle
i dig those things a lot, only reason i use different ones is when i need something to stay off for more than an hour at a time

I like the “nearpow” cycle timers on amazon. I’ve had them for a couple of years, no problems and easy to use.

I love those WiFi outlets, those are the best. Being able to set everything up in one place (an app) is so nice and convenient. Totally worth it, just get one with a lot of positive reviews for the device and the app. I have twelve of them, they’re very useful.

Have you seen any that do on/off times under a minute?

I forgot I wanted to do this, and I have just enough time to try it if you update me in a week.

Well, the “sugar” did appear to get thicker & coated more.... overall worth the price even if it’s just for bragging rights

I see you already got a timer, but for anyone else looking for one I use UltraLink smart plugs. Good for 10 amps and you can set schedules with an app.

Smallest adjustment is a minute though and it’s +/- 30 seconds (according to the app but mine is more like +/- 10 seconds)

Dayton cycle timers. Down to 5 seconds. Analog. Bulletproof. Bought one a decade ago still turning!! No bs electronics that are not necessary and just waiting to fail.

In my search for a timer, Ive heard that analogs are usually off and are noisey as hell. Ive seen those nearpow timers on amazon but the reviews werent that great. I ended up going with the agromax digital timer for my drip setup and it goes down to 10 seconds minimum and 99 hours maximum (it goes down to 1 second too but nobody goes that low). It has a photocell and has day, night, and timer mode. Looks like it will be a badass timer.
