Need a few tips on Getting Rid of SMell

I've seen other posts about this but none are helping me with what I need. I'm growing 4 in a closet, flowering has my house smelling like a damn skunk which isn't good for when guests come over.

My room is on the second floor at the end of the hallway but it still finds its way down the stairs. I have taped off the vent that takes air from my room and keep a towel against the bottom of both closet and room door at all times. I can't afford any ventilation systems or stuff like that cause I'm broke as shit ha.

I'm looking for a few tips on simple ways to get rid of the smell. I've thought of sealing off both doors and always keeping a window open in my room to ventilate. Maybe a $30-$40 fan in the window that sucks the air out? Any other tips on what you may do would be greatly appreciated!

look into getting yourself an air-scrubber. Or, just get yourself a carbon filter.

the air-scrubber sounds cool but waaaay out of my price range. How well does a carbon filter clear out the smell in a room?

get the right filter and it will nutralize the odor.......the window and fan trick sounds good as long as you don't have neighbours.....

Well I don't know how much read but I said I can't afford a ventilation system, and I"m just looking for cheap affordable ways to control the smell. thank you though

Get a jar of ONA GEL. House will smell great. This is what I use and I grow 6 girls in a closet. Only cost about $9.
