Natures Nectar..... Shop experiment

Ok guys I run a hydro shop so I have lots of toys play with. I have a lot newbies asking about Hydro-organic. Traditionally I say it can't be done successfully without doing a res change every two days. So I heard about Nature Nectars the first Hydro-organic ORMI listed nutes. So I ordered a case of each. After reading the feeding schedule I was informed that you do not adjust the pH, PPM's will not read and do not inject with air stones.

I thought these claims are kinda crazy. So I have a extra Turbo Garden from Botanicare its like a 18" x 3' ebb n flow, I threw a 400 HPS over the table. And threw a Beef master tomato plant in a 15 gallon pot that's about 3 foot wide and about 3 foot tall.

I started the plant with tea's I was brewing and its been doing great!

But for the sake of science and the lack of information online about Natures Nectar I'm doing experiment with the line.

Now they claim no need to adjust the pH, but after adding the nutes to RO water I threw a pH meter in to see where it was at. and it was like 3.9 now im a hydro guy and I know 3.9 is not good. So I called higrow corp which makes it. They said add more P and it will raise the pH and that K will lower it. But the feeding chart said nothing about that.. So I said fuck it.. pH it is after 6 tbsp. of pH up for 25 gallon res I was at 6.0

I will have to say I used a shit load to get the suggested amounts on the feeding chart.. It was 40 tsp of N, 80 tsp of P and 80 tsp of K for 25 gallons, I thought that was a lot for 25 gallons maybe not.

I think I also need the Add Guano too... For the micro but I built the soil so Im going to skip that..

When I get home tonight I will post pics and this is going to be a journal on this line and this plant..

So stayed tuned to see the results.

So here is the pic details listed above

Hahaha

Ive seen this line in action by a trusted hydro grower here on RIU.
Ive seen another grow during veg and they both looked horrible.
My two cents
If your doing hydro, stick to what "works" which is traditional synthetic coughBScough

Its not organic if it comes in a bottle a wise man one said

Ok spicy I run a hydro shop.. I don't care what anyone says.. Yes ebb n flow is hydroponics it doesn't matter if it is a 15 gallon container or not.. And just so you know technically even growing in soil-less mediums adding nutes "even hand watering a nutrient solution" is indeed hydroponics.. I know this, because I do this for a living. Wikipedia if you don't believe me.. Ebb N flow, drip systems and growing in soil-less medium are all hydroponics. Get your facts straight. I am assuming you believe that you invented all this, so to you all these technical terms are probably just non-sense. It pisses me the fuck off when some ignorant dumb fuck comes into my shop.

Typically this is how the conversation goes.. "Can I help you find any thing today" says me.." Yeah I want to grow some plants" says idiot. "Ok let me show you the systems that we have" says me. "here is a ebb n flow aka flood & drain, it works by flooding the plant from the bottom then it drains back into the res" says me... "Naw man, naw man. I want a machine wid da wadder flo through dat" says idiot. At this point I now know they are fucking brain dead so then they get raped by me;) I will sell you the stupidiest gimmick bullshit on the market, oh yeah that discount? No the discount only goes to the educated.

P.S oh yeah spicy my tea's are working great! you know that bottle sludge bullshit you were talking about. My plants are doing great and I am selling it by the gallon for 7 bucks and guess what people are coming in every two days to buy more. So thanks but no thanks.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot.. Speaking of organics, since you seem to know it all, and maybe you think Im just some dumb fucking newb to the game, I also have a large 4' by 12' aquaponics system using 4x8 as floating rafts and 4x4 as a flood and drain with a bell siphon. Which I have over 20 channel catfish in a 275 gallon tank. I sell red romaine commercially to 2 different restaurants. So thanks but no thanks..

I will stay off your threads but please stay off mine.

Have a nice day
I sure hope i NEVER find your store, there is only one idiot in that store and it isn't the customers.

Before I go into a shit talking mode. I just want to say with Natures Nectar (ez-gro) ask me to make a grow journal for them at the shop they said they give me a ton of freebies for the shop and my pics would be on their new up coming website.. Personally since I put the plant on the table, it has been doing poorly so I think they are full of shit.

What I learned by doing some research is that they use a company to make their nutes and there is no details on the company because there is no real company.. Basically its some random shit that you would use for brewing a tea the crappy way..

I am man enough to say sorry to yall.

But I will not stand behind a product that sucks. It might have a good purpose to add some extra customizing to a already set nute program.

I know organics is suppose to be easy, very little money involved..

You are right and I am wrong, I am a hydro guy thats it. I am use to hyping up a product that I believe in.

I have been growing the wrong way for years, I am really trying to master organics.. True organics.. Not no super soil. Just the old school ways.

I am sorry yall
