Natural soil?

Hi all, ive never really grown outdoors and i wanted a little project over the spring and summer so i decided to give it a whirl. I don't want to do anything special by any means since i don't smoke a whole lot, i just really love growing marijuana as a hobby because its such a unique plant. I wanted to know if i could just start inside for 2 weeks then move them outside. I plan on planting them straight in the ground as i want a sort of care free natural grow. I wanted to know of it is necesary to haul soil out to my plots as i don't want to spend money and haul bags of soil. The places i wanted to plant at have decent soil and are by a creek. So is it necesary to cary soil out? I just wanted a simple grow that i only have to tend to when it does not rain for a while. Also i really don't care about amount of yield or quality as like i said i don't smoke much and am doing it for the hobby.

-Thanks

Just make sure the ground is dry and is will dry easy(has good porosity.) Make sure it's not to clayey also or sandy for that matter.

I would dig up a few nice holes for your plants and just replace the hole with the same soil. you should be fine. Prob should check the PH of the soil also. Good Luck!:leaf:

So bassically i should till the holes before i plant? And also how long would it have to go without rain until i would have to water them?

Sincere post, yours, local natural soil is underestimated in wooded areas, you' be surprised, just aerogate it well and make sure it faces south.
