Mystical Experience

I think Hindu kush is the mother of all cannabis.

So it seemed to me, in a moment of clairty, I perceived light, pure light.

I was thinking that we perceive the world in a duality of opposites, good vs evil, right vs wrong. But there is all this confusion we have because of contradictions in beliefs. Some say all is one, some say all is all, some say they don't know. Some go nihilistic and claim nothing has value. Others embrace it and create their own.

So you have what appears to be this duality, like right verse wrong. A polarization in perception, a subjective experience influencing objective reality. But the polarization is a contradiction, a paradox. Like adding -1 and 1, you get zero. There is no duality, just nothing, 0. But there is something. You add 0 to 0 you get zero, you subtract or multiply you get 0. Then you divide it... and you get something undefined.

so anyways, the paradox. That 0/0 is undefined. This world we live in, seems sometimes to make little sense. Almost meaningless. Like the undefined, something that doesn't have meaning. But it does. The paradox is that, there is meaning and you create it for yourself.

but it's not ex nihilo out of nothing. It is from experiences, interactions with others, everything that exists that is both meaningless and meaningful. That polarization of us vs them. It is a paradox and meaningless, a uselessness, an undefined thing, when people put their own selfish desires first rather than live by reason.

Look one person will say, this is a holy man. But another will say of him, he is an idiot.

well that is the gist of existential angst, one of those moments of clarity, of temporary insanity, diving into the depths of the deep blue sea, and then climbing up into the sky and blasting off into space. Peace out.

well, the point being every belief system is founded on assumptions. If they are true, then everything follows from it. The contention arises from whether or not the assumptions are true, and all that angst is spent trying to determine what is true. If you don't examine your own assumptions then you are just blindly following what someone else has told you. That is the point to figure that out for yourself, but not be so full of fear that it cripples you from living life.

It doesn't matter if any of this makes sense, or why, or is it true or not. Only that a moment of clairty, you see through that bullshit, you get a good idea of what the big picture looks like, and you strive to create a life you want to live.
