Is there any local hardware stores that carry mylar? like homedepot and lowes dont on their internet site.

that depends on where you live, paint the walls flat white or buy some mylar here High Tech Garden Supply

if your doing a small space pick up a few mylar survival blankets from your local wallymrt.

that shiny metallic stuff for wrapping or whatnot is found at most dollar stores is mylar too.
