mylar on the floor?

is mylar on the floor good? im process of runing 20 big budplants with 1000hps/mh
i was told ill be ok with that but i have remaining mylar i could usemaybe?.......would it
be too much? because i heard the underleaves dont need that light or it can burn them or??? anyone knows more?

I use reflective material on the floor and have not seen any bad side effects from this or noticed any burning of the leafs. Remembering from my biology class, even the underside of a leaf is capable of absorbing light and of photosynthesis.

I wouldn't let that mylar go to waste. I can't really imagine how it could actually BURN leafs. I say, do it... just don't forget to ventilate and keep checking your heat levels since you're running one mean light source.
