Mylar bags

Who else loves them? I know at least half the people in here have Mylar on the walls of their grow rooms. But how many of you are using them to keep scent at bay? Barry Cooper said on never get busted again, that when sealed Mylar bags are impermeable. Unlike vacuum seal bags which only contain scent for about a day. Just wondering how many others use them.

I used them a bunch when we brought souvenirs home from Co. years ago. Completely contain smell. I used planters peanuts mylar. Chip bags work. Heavy mylar Coffee bags are awesome! Just use a hair straightener to heat seal them.
I put each different strain in a peanut bag, seal each, then wash jands, put on latex gloves, and sealed all those in a coffee bag. Put in storage tote overnight, not a whiff when opened.
Not sure if all that was necessary but I rode easier.

You can get them heavy mil in 2 and 5 gallon sizes from mylarbagsdirect. Good prices. And peace of mind is worth more than a fortune in gold. Printing your own labels helps a lot too

All the "preppers" use mylar and O2 absorbers to store beans and rice and many other dry goods like soup mixes for 20 years or more.
Some of these can't be 100% dry. Has anyone looked into long term storing marijuana similarly? I suppose the weed doesn't usually last that long :bigjoint:bongsmilie:bigjoint:bongsmilie
But I'm growing for personal and would like to store at least a year.

Boveda packs will keep your herbs fresh. You want the 62% ones

I like the turkey bags, not sure if Mylar but they control odor very well.
Also come in large enough sizes for curing purposes.
