mycelium life span?

once a jar is fully colonized, how long will the mycelium live inside the jar before it goes bad and is unable to be fruited?

Don't push it or it will die in its own metabolic wastes.... if needs be you can refrigerate it to store it for a little while.

I'd probably just colonize another jar.....in the name of Spain.
