I believe the percentage of substrate colonized is more important than how many days. How long it takes for the mycelium to get to that point is dependent an many factors.

so wait until your whole jar in covered then you birth is there a point when mycilum stops growing or just uh gives up

That question concerns me too... as two jars I have seem to not be spreading any further... its been almost a month now... the substrate looks very dry... not sure what to do?
