My Volcano, Three months later, still love it

So I promised myself I would put up a review of my Volcano after a significant period of use. I wanted to make sure I got a thorough evaluation before recommending it to others. Well, my final report is in, and I love it. Most people are well aware of what a Volcano is, to anybody who doesn't know, its a very high priced vaporizer. I originally invested in a vaporizer for health reasons. A study from UCLA came out saying that volcano's will vaporize all of the THC smoke and only 2 of the known carcinogens in weed, as opposed to the around 19 from combustion smoking. This becomes obvious from the first couple weeks of use. My sinuses cleared up, I didnt hock up giant brown lugies when I woke up in the morning, the entire pitch of my voice changed (i've been smoking daily for 10 years.....wow, sounds crazy when i type it). I like to Vape right around temp setting 6.5, which gives me a nice clean smoke, strong enough for a solid buzz, but lacking in anything I dont want to breathe in. Smoking this way is healthier, there is less odor, you conserve weed, and still get extremely blazed.

OK, so you've heard all the good, now with the bad, what little there is.
The volcano is very expensive. Well worth in in my opinion, but still expensive.
One other thing is, vaporization lacks a certain...something. You'll feel it the first time you hit one. You'll feel the weed, the high, but you dont feel that rush to the dome as a giant cloud of smoke fills your lungs. The reason for this being, as I later discovered, is when your body takes in some of the toxins usually associated with smoking weed, your immune system kicks in to place and gives you a slight euphoric feeling. The same thing happens when you get drunk, or even get shot (not that getting shot feels good, but your body tries to compensate as best it can). For many people, this immune system "high" is a large part of the reason they smoke and why they will always prefer joints or bong rips to vaping. I myself feel the need to rip a bowl or joint everyone once in awhile, I just dont do it every day like I used to.
My recommendation, use the vape for daily smoking and your other preferred method for special occasions. That's it. Happy Smoking.

Valcanos are the best. Everyone should get one. Yes, it is well worth the money, can you really put a price on your health?

Stick any old weed into a volcano and presto, instant high. Shouldn't be tried with Schwag though, as that contains 0% THC (as far as I care at least)

i got a vaporbrother..its was like 200$...hits like a champ and i love it!...is there a big diff. with the volcano?!?

Answer: Yes! I have a vapor bros.. stopped working a LONG time ago.. totally OLD-School.. and a waste of money in my opinion.. Once you hit a Volcano, you'll never be able to "just smoke" or even get by with an imposter.. I understand not many of us are in a position to afford a Volcano.. but if you can.. Go Now! haha:weed:
There is absolutely no comparison to the Volcano... Is is king of the vapor jungle. By far the best there ever has been and will be for what looks like years to come. I've had mine only two days and cannot put it down.. I think I have a problem.. :bigjoint: haha
I HIghly recommend it to everyone:leaf:

The Volcano is definitely on my wish list!! I always hear great things about it.. I have a Vapir 5.0 but I'm ready to upgrade.
Great review, very well said ;)

I'm in the same boat.

but my vapir rules. and it heats up faster than a volcano, that's about the only pro to it. I put custom reynolds turkey oven bags on it and it rocks.

and it heats up faster than the volcano when you put the disc in connected to the balloon. the resistence of the disc and the air allows it to heat up within 30 seconds, for real try it.

but despite the fast heatup the sound is ridiculous and the temp accuracy is +/-23 degrees whereas the volcano is +/-9 and you can use it all day whereas the vapir you turn it off after so long etc.

so the volcano is the obvious win, and I"m planning on buying one just thought I'd state that the vapir air one 5.0 isnt total junk. and for 150 bucks it's just about the best forced air vape in it's pricerange.

Oh, most definitely. I probably should've mentioned in my post that the Vapir is not bad at all for its price. I don't really like using it with the whip, though, but I love using the bags. I need to try those Reynolds bags you're talking about... cause I need to fill up like 4 of the Vapir bags to get a good buzz and its kinda time consuming. But it does heat up super fast. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the Vapir.. but I reallllly want a Volcano

A side for it's price the volcano is pretty much perfect. You get a nice clean and intense high. You can tell it's clean because once your lungs heal up from smoking (it takes a few weeks to months) you'll start to cough heavily from bowls, bong hits, and cigarettes. It's the only way I'd recommend a heavy user or a daily smoker to toke. Personally I want to quit smoking all together (I doubt the vapor is truly good for your lungs too) and just start eating pastries (which IMO is the best use of weed).

Another plus about the volcano is the build quality. It's my opinion that the volcano is built as good or better than a piece of consumer electronics you'd pick up from sony or Panasonic. That's shocking for a piece of glorified paraphernalia

those bags are really the only reason I love my vapir air one. they can hold 12-15 normal sized hits, 10 HUGE rips.

and you don't have to switch bags like before, you just put it on for one disc and it fills it up and uses up everything in the disc quite nicely :D

So how do you attach the Reynolds bag to the vaporizer? Is it easy to do?

yeah you basically use one of the tubes that came with it, tie the open end together in an equal fashion until yuo have a tube sticking out of a sealed bag :D

and then you have to manually shove the tube into the unit every time but it's way better than those shitty bags.

Awesome. I need to try that asap! lol Thanks for the idea :bigjoint:

Tangent -
So it was a Spring Break in College and after already experiencing a Spring Break in Mexico, my friends and I decided to go to Colorado to do some skiing. We rented an awesome house 5 minutes from the lifts - Plasma TVs, Hottub, bunch of bedrooms, etc. There were 18 of us that went, and we each grabbed an 1/8th from someone we knew in Denver... 2.25 ounces in our house. Just this description - Skiing + :weed: would be awesome for anyone... however, one of my friends surprised us by bringing his buddy's Volcano. He also had fixed a 10 foot bag to the volcano rather than a normal 1-2 ft bag (i dunno how big they are). It was also the first week of march madness.

Needless to say, I will never forget that week. :hump:
I would HIGHly recommend a Volcano to anyone who can afford it.
