My very first grow...HELP!!

I have 18 seeds on there way to me
5 power africa
5 auto blue mystic
5 velvet bud
1 rocklock
1 cole train
1 sharkbreath
all females

Im planning on sprouting them indoors until they get about a foot tall then transplanting outdoors
any tips or secrets you guys can let me in on?

sounds like the tude, I got some cole train/sharksbreath freebies from them as well. my only advice is wait until july or august before you sprout them if you plan on growing outdoors, unless you want monster plants by october lol

its also my first order
doesnt monster plants=monster bud?
 
actually i do, ive always heard that if your plants are near pine trees the pot choppers wont be able to see them, is that true?
also any care tips

Gotta say I have no idea but if you have them so clost to pine trees that the cops can't see them won't it be difficult for the plant to get the proper amount of sunlight?
 
Things I've learned the hard way:
Don't use tin foil to reflect light
Don't pour water with nutes mixed in directly on the leaves themselves
Don't try to find the cheapest way out, do it correctly the first time and you won't have to worry about it again
Don't over analize every little thing, they're plants and chances are, if you're not completely retarded and doing dumb shit, they'll grow
Above all
Have fun

it seems like it is fun
thats half the reason im doing it
the other half is that the smoke around here sucks!
 
sounds pretty good man, just like watch the spot for a cpl day to be sure before planting anything there

another question: i did some research on the strains before i picked them and they seem to be pretty easy to grow and take care of, my question is, have you ever grown these plants if so, any input is well needed and wanted
 
na man i'm on my first grow too. Just look up your strains and pay attention to the little things the instructions say. Like if it says this plant likes more humid environments or some shit like that and your environment isnt humid I'd say go for something else. That's just en example ya know what i mean?
 
mkmkli49 hi, you said that you learned not to mix water + nutes directly on to leaves, well its my 1st grow and i done it, can you give me any advice on foliage feeding? or anyone reading this perhaps , thanks
 
I honestly don't exactly know anything about foliar feeding all I do know is when I got some water with some nutes i it on my plants it made yellow burn holes in the leaves. I highly recommend looking into it as much as possible before you try it cause you may end uo burning your leaves ya know.
 
do i have to give my plants nutes or will just water do the trick?
i was kinda wanting to do it all natural and use no chemicals...if its possible
 
well you could do water for a while depdending on your grow medium. but you can get plant food that is water disovable and just follow directions and you should do quite well
 
i plan i starting them out in these things i saw a wal-mart, they are about the size of a 50 cent piece a swell up when you add water, from what i read on the back of them you just put whatever seed your growing in it and it works like that.
i was ether going to go with that or just get some potting soil and grow my plants indoors untill they get about a foot tall then transplant them outdoors
