My Super Soil Grow JTR/SC/GC

Room: 8'x10' Panda Film Tent Framed with 2x4's Top and Bottom

Lighting: 2K Aircooled HPS W/Hortilux Bulbs

Venting: Passive Air Intake - W/600CFM Being Pulled to Veg/Clone Area

Soil: Subcool's Super Soil Topped with Organic Potting Soil

Containers: 5 Gallon Grow Bags - Wanted to use 10 gallon bags but my hydro shop has been out of them for a long time - Will top dress with Super Soil late in the grow

Plants: Jack the Ripper x 10 / Strawberry Cough x 14 / Green Crack x 10

Camera: Nikon D-90 with Tamron 18-200mm Digital Lens (Still learning to use it)

This is my first soil grow. Been growing hydro until I read some of Subcool's stuff. Really excited about this grow.

Not having the greatest luck with these rapid rooters. The Green Crack looks like it might pull through but the Strawberry Cough is not looking too good. The temp are 80 deg and I'm keeping the bottom of the tray full of a mild solution of Pure Blend Pro. These two are 3 days since being cloned.

Not sure why I always have so much better success with my aerocloner. I think I'm just gonna break it out and forego the Rapid Rooters. I want to start flowering this week, but I also want to make sure I have some more plants to start vegging.

Here's a cool photo I took at the truck races in Lake Elsinore the weekend before last. I like how only the truck is clear.

was wondering are you running co2 in your big room??

I was getting ready to setup a co2 tank in my room been looking into it like how big of a tank i will need, I know you had a tank for your cabinet i believe it was hooked up for both your veg and your flower room, i was just thinking of doing almost excatly the same thing, how did that work out for you did you run out of c02? how big of tank do you have ?

Reading on a thread someone figured around 20oz/1.25lb of co2 can be realsed with in three weeks so that would be 40oz/2.5lb in 6 weeks and so on....... but i guess it really depeneds on what you set your tank at. So yea any info you can throw my way about co2 would be helpfull thanks agian man

My tank for the cabinets was only two pounds. It lasted two weeks before needing to be refilled. Not running CO2 in the big room yet, I need to go buy two twenty pound bottles.

Brewed a Honey Ale today. Should come out really good. Finished out at 1.060 so if it ferments all the way I'll be looking at about 6.2%.

Clean and sanitize everything.

Steep the grain for 30 minutes and then add the liquid malt, dried malt, honey and one ounce of hops.

Let boil 45 minutes and add the chiller and clarifier.

Add the last 1/2 ounce of hops for aroma. Empty the sanitizer out of the glass carboy and cover. After the brew cools to ambient temperature add to the carboy with the yeast and shake vigorously.

you lucky bastered!! theres a moonshiners theard going around, i still want to buy a kit but right now spending all my spare money on the rooms,

i was thinking of going with a 5lb c02 that should give me 4 weeks or around there. since i only have small room i dont have the space for the 20 or even the funds right now. I was going to go with the paintball setup but i know i would be replacing/filling up the tanks to much so might as well just go with the 5lb. not sure if am going to go with the nice regulator you can plug in or go with a simple one and do a bubble counter. but enough about me this is your thread.

after it ferments for a while let us know how the ale turned out!
