My soil dries out pretty quickly

So I had to move my grow location from my closet to under a sink. Ten 23 watt CFL's going in a roughly 2x2x3 space. They're on the "floor" of the cabinet, with the plants growing around them. Right now there are 13 two week old plants in there. A fan also blows...

So... is this why my soil is bone dry not too long after watering? I used to water every other day around noon. By the following night (36 hours later) I could barely feel moisture, and the following day, I feel none whatsoever? I watered just yesterday, and they're dry already today! I always water till it drips out the bottom. Maybe my setup just dries it out fast?

between healthy roots and a fan blowing on the plants and medium, it may dry out quite quickly. this is not a problem. the quicker the roots dry out they quicker they receive the oxygen in the soil they need to process the nutrients.

if you need them to water less frequently, water more then you have been. but if you're fine with your watering schedule, keep as is.

I have no problem putting aside the 15 or so minutes every day or two, I just thought something was up. :) thanks.
