My ShortStuff - pic- when to move under stronger light?

This is my 1 week old SS#1.So far it has been under a 45w blue CFL.
First set of true leaves is about 5cm long

I will use a 125w 2700K CFL for the rest of the grow.

My question is ,how soon should I put it under the stronger bulb ? If I were to do it now ,would I just be wasting watts?do I let another set of leaves develop?

Defy "stronger bulb" I've popped beans under a 400w...all down to distance from source.

Oh shit thought you were veging under that lol you can place you hand underneath for peace of mind but you've to get that bulb very close to get the most out of it n you can get it even closer if you've a fan blowing over it and your canopy canopy.
.sorry about the confusion on my part super high high.

get it under the 125 start further away with it and work your light closer over the next 7 days i notice you say 2700 125 w thats better for flower i would use 6400 for veg

I would keep it under the 45 watt (blue) for at least another week to veg up some more, as your 125 watt bulb is better for the flowering stage.

would you be able to run both lights, or is it one or the other only

I haven't done any tests with both at the same time.I could run them both ,but I have to check the temps first.

It is an auto ,would it grow bad under orange light if it hasn't shown sex yet?

Thanks for the links vostok! I am currently running a 125 w orange at the top (closest I can go is 3 inches from leaf to bulb) .... and a 40w 6700k in a clamp reflector ,from the side.
I won't post pics yet as not to jinx it.....lol
I hope the temps will not climb in my small space ,if all goes well , I'll leave the 2 bulbs together.

Oh yes ,got a small fan blowing on the seedling also.

poke thru my blog here also this on ghetto growers, afterall the more light you give her the better she will grow, but at all times consider the internodes as...cool white(blue) will make short squat plants the warm white, 2700k will make the internodes further apart and make it look stretchy, use daylight for best performance, if not real daylight then daylight CFL's at 4000 kelvin, dude its all in the kelvin.

Thanks for the "both bulbs" hint.
In my head ,I was certain that they would produce too much heat in my small space and had planned to use only the 125w . Turned out to be wrong ,max temps ever were 28 degrees C (only for a short while) with both bulbs - and .The Stuff is really taking off......60 hours since running the 2 bulbs together....

Avoid going 24/0, as much serious shit happens in the dark like with us, its carbon/carbohydrate/sugars exchange thats important to most life forms, 18/6 is best all thru the grow
good luck

yes ,my schedule has always been 18/6 ,forgot to mention it.Even if I wanted to do 24/0 ,there would be too much heat in the first place.

This is my third auto ,I did 2 consecutive Betty Boo -shortest strain from J.Dr.- a couple of years ago in the same space 1ft x 1ft x 2 ft mini tent..18/6 all the way....but I had many smaller CFL at that time ,thinking that a bigger one would be too hot.

Temps now are about the same as they were back then ,except I don't have as many bulbs to move around constantly ,as the plant grows.Saved me some space too.

If everything goes well ,maybe I will start a journal when the first signs of flowering appear.
You were right about it being a fast horse hehe. There she goes....at 12 days since poking soil
